Plus, a week’s worth of faces…. #36 through #43!
The little one on the top right is using a Jane Davenport stamp. And again, I went without hair on a couple… sure simplifies things! I think my favorite of the week is the quirky fellow on the bottom left. It just has more personality.. But I am going to keep trying out many styles to see where they take me!
For those of you who use a Happy Planner, this is the perfect dimension to print as a cover for the smaller size (7.5 x 9.5 inches) planner. Simply print on card stock and then laminate. If you do not have a way to laminate, then cover both sides with clear Contact paper, or with clear packing tape. Use the Happy Planner punch and there you go, a new custom cover for your new year of planning!
This is a repeat, but still one of my favorites. Thought I would share this with you as a reminder to take time to ponder amidst the hustle and bustle of the season. For me, coloring, or doodling is a great way to direct myself to a time of prayer, meditation, and pondering!
Here is a page for you to download and ponder with!
My hands always want to be doing something, even when I am relaxing! The most restful thing I can do with my waking time is doodle. My current favorite pen for doodling is my carbon black ink fountain pen.
Coloring is a similarly restful activity and I think that is why coloring pages and books are such a hit. We are in sore need of that restful, creative, and meditative activity! And what better to meditate on than God’s Words to us?
Today I chose Psalm 3:3, a beautiful promise. Feel free to download, print and color this coloring page!
One of my favorite verses… very simple, practical instruction, but less easy to actually do! Making these doodles is my favorite way to meditate on a verse and think about it’s application in my own life. What would the world be like if more of us practiced goodness even in the face of evil?
